Salary: $90k+ (Base and Bonus)
Sunstone Credit is on a mission to make solar accessible for every business. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. In this hybrid role, you’ll serve as both a front-line ambassador for new partners and the first point of contant for our business borrowers.
As part of the Sales & Client Services team, you'll help drive Sunstone’s commercial activities by managing early-stage sales outreach, guiding clients through our application process, reviewing documentation, and serving as a resource for customer questions and needs.
Be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound client interactions, providing a seamless experience from initial inquiry to post-sale support
Guide clients through our application process step by step, ensuring clarity and confidence at every stage
Review and verify client documentation to support underwriting and approval processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development and Underwriting teams to ensure alignment and timely client support
Capture and maintain detailed records in Salesforce to help us scale efficiently and deliver personalized service
Support process improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the customer journey
0–4 years of experience in a B2B role focused on sales development, customer success, or client support
Strong written and verbal communication skills; you’re proactive, empathetic, and customer-obsessed
Experience working with Salesforce (or a similar CRM) to manage client relationships and log activity
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management and follow-through
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where priorities may shift quickly
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
Must be based in New York and available to work in our Flatiron office three days per week
